This group project is being built right now!

This is a group project I’m working on with some Vesper people. Specifically Heidi, Dan and Eduardo. We’re purposing this idea for installation to Anoka/Ramsey Community College. The basic concept is Annoka – which means “on both sides”. Hopefully this gets chosen and we get to build it.

My role on the team has been to draw it. I have to credit the others with the idea.

It is a sad day.
Perpetual Perceptual is no more.

A truly innovative structure.

During the deconstruction I took a webcam shot every 30 seconds.
If you do the math, you can see my friend John talking to me for about three hours.

It was a fine abode.
Erected for the sole purpose of being perceived.
It also made a great stage for the Bombay Sweets.

Rest in pieces little abode.
I’m showing it backwards as a celebration to it’s construction.

Now you can build your very own abode to become a universe be-ing!

Just little me being the universe is all.

This is an abode I built for my thesis at Vesper.

Human beings can occupy it.
The only way to sit in the chair
is to become the universe be-ing.

This is an abode I’m about to start building.
You can stand in it as a human being but you can really only occupy it as a universe be-ing.

I built the box.

This was part of a community service project for school.

You might recognize this from my previous posts of the sketches, the model and the rendering.

I built this for a child that taught me lattice multiplication.

This was way easier to build
in the digital world.

The neighbor was throwing away an old moldy wooden box.
I took it apart and re-used pieces to make this.
In it’s second life, it holds a few pictures.
