I’m making a model of this. Originally, it was a group project and I was only in charge of making the terminus. Now, I have to recreate the entire experience with a model.

Update: 2009-10-29-1:24pm. Managed to find a MYSQL back up I made on 10-12… the kind people at freehostia (hosting provider) helped me restore it. Most of the entries have been restored.
Sometimes, I wish I could just run out of ideas and relax a little.

Fabulous news! Vesper College has been accepted to this years Art Shanty Project!
Six of us will be working together to put together an abode that goes out on the ice. This is my concept. Gallimaufry means hodgepodge, a collection of unrelated items or a “junk drawer”. This is a hodgepodge of a classic one room school house, a wigwam, and an ice shanty.
Our finished project will probably look nothing like this.
It is not a good idea to all do this at the same time.
A North Minneapolis Dentist office desperately needed a way to keep rain water away from the foundation. We donated one.

This sculpture holds three ounces of water along a horizontally flat bamboo chute.
The sculpture is powered by small amounts of wind that movement of people in the room create, and the heat coming up from the candle.
The sculpture gently rotates, and the water drips to the floor. Flat becomes round.
We took our Saturday studio time to revisit first semester and create small wood sculptures.
This log is modulating into something else.
This is how you can grow super intelligent plants.
That’s about where this one gets me.
It’s a little out of tune.
However, it is very nice company while you’re cutting metal.
The project was to take a piece of wood and get it to hold three ounces of water, and to have it done in three hours.
