This is our cedar.
That’s the floor and the tall wall.
That is all I want to tell you.
We have a lot of work to do.

I can d-d-d-raw I sw-sw-sw-ear.

i don’t know why i wouldn’t

My control is beyond my control.

if they were visible
to the human eye
…
i think that
invocation thought-forms
might be shaped
like ferns

Just jabbering away
in total agreement

This is what it feels like
when you can feel
all near possibilities
playing out
at the same time.

At least she floats.

and something is still wrong.

You can’t stop it.

The latest crazation that’s sweeping the nation. The biggest thing since hallucination. Please, step inside this abomination.
I’m no seamstress.
If you look close, you will see the needle in the shadows.
Big and beautiful smelling recycled playground cedar… wrapped in mis-manufactured artist canvas.
Look out the ear and see sound. You can also see what a messy studio we have.
All closed up it stands a little over 8 feet tall.
Did I mention that this is modular? The skeleton breaks down into six minivan loads.
What an attractive profile.
The teeth are for biting.
Inside view, without the candles.
Standing inside my giant head. Perceiving you.
This is the materialization of the big head structure that I’ve been drawing for a couple years now.
You can find an example here or here … and there are many more scattered throughout the site.
The concept:
We can not determine the actual use of an architectural structure. We can design buildings with an INTENDED use in mind, but we can not predict how they will ACTUALLY be used (i.e. a movie theater can be used for many disgusting things, beyond watching a bad movie).
Along those same thought lines, we ALL perceive the same reality differently. We don’t know the truth about truth. We only know that we all perceive.
I see this as an opportunity, because the ONLY thing an architectural structure can POSSIBLY be used for (at least the only thing we KNOW it can be used for) IS perception.
That’s why I’ve made Perpetual Perceptual.
This is a humble abode designed purely for your perception.
Lots of “FIRST”s for such a tiny architectural structure.
This is the FIRST architectural structure designed with perception as THE intended use.
This is the FIRST architectural structure that is successful in delivering it’s intended use to ALL of it’s occupant’s.
This is the FIRST architectural structure that we actually KNOW is functioning.
*I am aware that some of these “FIRST”s are only perceptions.
Custom perceptual abodes available. Just contact me.

I got to put one on wheels.

A shout out to all of my brothers and sisters working on CAD drawings today.

I thought it would be scary to dress up as Matt Semke.
Happy Halloween you guys.

An extra special sneak peak entry.
I’m making a model of this. Originally, it was a group project and I was only in charge of making the terminus. Now, I have to recreate the entire experience with a model.
2″ = 1′ is the scale.
Try to imagine what you think my full model will look like.

Yes, I totally deleted my website.
One by one all the entries will return.
It is quite a load.
Update: 2009-10-29-1:24pm. Managed to find a MYSQL back up I made on 10-12… the kind people at freehostia (hosting provider) helped me restore it. Most of the entries have been restored.

Sometimes, I wish I could just run out of ideas and relax a little.

Where DO they meet?

I don’t know why I always let them do this to me.

This stone coffin captures three ounces water and allows it to be swallowed by the earth’s big belly. That’s why its called esophaguys sarcophagus.
And
…
I really like to rhyme.

Just look straight ahead and don’t worry about it.

Fabulous news! Vesper College has been accepted to this years Art Shanty Project!
Six of us will be working together to put together an abode that goes out on the ice. This is my concept. Gallimaufry means hodgepodge, a collection of unrelated items or a “junk drawer”. This is a hodgepodge of a classic one room school house, a wigwam, and an ice shanty.
Our finished project will probably look nothing like this.

It is not a good idea to all do this at the same time.
